Science communication

I’ve communicated science for biomedical and environmental research institutes, environmental nonprofits, a daily newspaper, a production studio, and more. My work has been shown at over a dozen international conferences, partner meetings, and project dissemination workshops, including the World Health Organization and World Bank’s first-ever conference about global mental health care (2016) and Stockholm World Water Week (2019). Community workshops

To engage residents throughout the research process, I have helped organize community workshops around participatory urban planning in San Diego (2017), water governance in Myanmar (2018), Sri Lanka (2019), and South Africa (2019), and weather-related hazards in the Bay Area (2024).
